Product description
In order to extend the life of the musical instrument and keep its finish in excellent condition we recommend removing the valve protector after concerts and classes. It's necessary to let the valve guard dry and let the instrument breathe. If you keep it on your trumpet for a long time without letting dry, the moisture accumulates in the protector and under it, which is bad for the trumpet.
This accessory can be used for instruments with all types of finish. If you use it with the raw brass and silver finish, please note, that it’s important to remove the valve protector after classes to make it easier to dry and prevent the oxidation of the finish because of the absorbed moisture.
The trumpet valve guard is made of the high-quality genuine leather. We designed this accessory to protect the most important parts of your trumpet, influenced by sweat from hands and rubbing. It’s equipped with 2 additional petals to protect the 1st and the 3rd valves. The inner side is made of the mild material, which absorbs the moisture and keeps the finish in a good condition.
Product lifetime is up to 5-10 years, and it totally depends on how often and intensively this accessory is used. Consider the fact that in some cases, with the frequent use, this leather accessory wears out very quickly, that’s why some musicians need to change trumpet valve protectors every year. As soon as the leather looks worn out, it's better to replace the old valve protector with the new one.
You can also place an order for a customized product with embossed initials, names or full names (up to 20 English symbols) and we’ll do our best to deliver the excellent result. We emboss the letters on leather in the way you like – capital letters, capital and small letters or small letters only.
- A classy addition to your trumpet. However, you need to take care of it after practices and gigs: remove it and let it get dry to avoid the oxidation of the surface.
- Fits all types of finishes (lacquer, raw brass, silver). If you use this accessory with the silver finish, remove it after concerts and classes – it’s important to let your trumpet breathe.
- Long-lasting genuine leather. The lifetime of our trumpet valve guard is approximately 5-10 years. The worn out leather valve protector should be regularly replaced with the new one, as the worn out leather doesn’t perform its function.
- Reliable protection against moisture and sweat. Equipped with additional leather petals, this accessory protects important parts of the trumpet.
